KIPP STAR students visit Heavyocity
Recently, we had the opportunity to open the studio doors to the students of the KIPP Star College Prep Charter School. The students spent a day in the studio creating monster sounds to picture, killer beats, and a really cool piece of music using HY products. KIPP NYC is a non-profit network of free, public charter schools that prepare students for success in college and life. 'Evolve' at West L.A. Recording Expo
Steptime Ware will be showing off EVOLVE at West L.A. Music's Recording Expo. Held on Friday, Nov. 14th and Saturday, Nov. 15th, the Expo showcases some of the hottest recording and music products, and holds in depth seminars with some of the industry's leading professionals. The event will also feature a keynote address by Rupert Neve, inventor of the large-format mixing console and winner of the Lifetime Achievement Technical Grammy Award. The Expo is held at West L.A. Music's main store, 11345 Santa Monica Blvd., Los Angeles, California. If you're in the area, be sure to check it out.

Heavyocity becomes Damaged
The Heavyocity Team has joined forces with West Coast composers Kevin Riepl (Gears of War, Unreal Tournament 3) and Otto Cate (Deprogrammed Studios) to create a trans-media entity entitled, "Damage Vault". Blending elements of orchestra and industrial/metal overtones, Damage Vault creates dark and edgy compositions and soundscapes available for licensing in Film, TV, and Video Games.
