The packs in this music making software contain content derived directly from Heavyocity's award-winning DM-307: Modern Groove Designer which was developed through experimental recording, sound design, and synthesis techniques, resulting in a highly-stylized collection of modular synth drums, live percussion, and processed classic analog drum machines.

Pack Details

The DM-307A Featured Artists pack contains loops created by leading techno and tech house DJ/producers Kaiserdisco, Martin Eyerer, Mendo, Pirupa and Uner. The loops, originally presented as MULTIs in DM-307, are now formatted for Ableton in both "full" and "stem" form for intuitive manipulation. The DM-307A Featured Artists also include individual Ableton Drum Racks. Want to add a snare fill? No problem, simply pull up an artist Drum Rack and easily play any sound from a loop. Rather load a raw sample into Simpler or Sampler? You're covered there too. All samples on this professional music composer software are additionally provided as categorized One-Shot wavs.
The Sound

The Sound of DM-307A

For nearly a year, Heavyocity captured in-depth recordings of a wide array of percussion instruments. Sounds were recorded through an all analog signal chain with gear including API, Grace, and Neve mic pre’s, and Manley EQ’s. With instruments ranging from congas and bongos, to small metals and triangles, and an arsenal of drum kits, DM-307 provides a vast range of organic timbres at your fingertips.
