Heavyocity’s signature sound design unfolds in nearly 400 stings, borne from unique recordings of thunder sheets, twisted metal wire, piano boards, and a host of organic instruments. Load a palette of 72 in the Menu presets, or place them throughout your cue with the curated Cue Creator Combo presets.

Craft Your Anxiety

Build tension and unease through complex layering and modulation in the Psychosis Designer. Mix 3 channels of sustains, textures, atonal rhythms, and more to create unsettling moments. Load one of the 160 curated presets or design your own.

Uncomfortable Rhythms

Tempo-synced string ensembles, skittering plucks, percussive patterns, unique multi-sampled pedals, and vocal loops provide the backbone for rhythmic tension. Mix and match tonal and atonal patterns, customize sequences in straight or triplet signatures, and push the momentum.

PSYCHOSIS delivers the natural horror of organic sources played in non-traditional ways. Its foundation is built from eclectic instruments performed by over-bowing, scraping, stretching, and bending, unearthing a tone of anxiety and fear with a very unique voice.

Recorded at Heavyocity studios, exotic instruments like Koto, sarangi, rubab, music boxes, jawbone, toy pianos, thunder sheet, gongs, a wind wand, and resonating metals were captured up close, then twisted, torn, and rebuilt the Heavyocity way.
