Issue with Kontakt 8.11 and Specific Products
We are aware of a newly presented issue in the latest update of Kontakt 8, version 8.11. This bug causes a large increase in volume in presets that utilize the Punish effect on the Master Effects tab. The bug is present in the following products:
While we actively work on a solution with Native Instruments, we recommend that you DO NOT update to this latest version of Kontakt 8 yet. If you have already updated, we suggest a few options to work around the issue:
- Continue to load these products in Kontakt 7.
- Submit a request to Native instruments for an earlier installation build of Kontakt 8 - https://support.native-instruments.com/hc/en-us/categories/360000053677-Native-Access
- Disable the Punish effect on those products via the power button on the Master FX tab.
